10 Reasons for Not Legalizing Prostitution (c)

My friends!
I will be honest with you. This is not be or any other man who found so many reason for not legalizing prostitution. Certainly, it was the woman! And not only a woman but Janice G. Raymond who is the member of CATW (Coalition Against Trafficking in Women International). I found this article on the Internet (frankly speaking, it was not very difficult to find, you can easily find it by yourself if you are very interested in this question). This article is not very new (it was written in 2003.... Gosh, time goes so quickly!!!). And frankly speaking, it would be very interesting for me to know whether Janice has changed her mind after 6 years. Well, enough to speak! Here they are: 10 reasons to prohibit the prostitution:

1. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution is a gift to pimps, traffickers and the sex industry.

2. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution and the sex industry promotes sex trafficking.

3. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not control the sex industry. It expands it.

4. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution increases clandestine, hidden, illegal and street prostitution.

5. Legalization of prostitution and decriminalization of the sex Industry increases child prostitution.

6.Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not protect the women in prostitution.

7.Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution increases the demand for prostitution. It boosts the motivation of men to buy women for sex in a much wider and more permissible range of socially acceptable settings.

8. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not promote women's health.

9. Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not enhance women's choice.

10.Women in systems of Prostitution do not want the sex industry legalized or decriminalized.

Here is he link where you can real all arguments as for this problem.

The questions you always wanted to ask.

Please welcome: some of FAQ about such a phenomenon as prostitution. I know this topic is not a new one and you are probably great experts already but I write this blog because some facts were completely new for me! Wow! It appeared to be that i did not know much about such a "profession".

So:

Q. Prostitution is the world’s oldest profession and will always exist.
A. Prostitution is not the oldest profession, slave trading is, men selling or trading female bodies amongst each other for profit. Saying prostitution is the oldest profession makes it sound like women. the prostitutes, have always been the cunning and seductive initiators wielding their mighty sexual power over defenseless men like powerful vampiresses of the night. That's the misogynist lie men have always wanted promoted because it absolves them of responsibility for what they do to children and women and makes them look like the victims of women’s seductive wiles.

Q. But you agree porn and stripping aren’t prostitution, right?
A. Of course they are. If getting paid to perform sex acts is prostitution, using a camera to record people getting paid to perform sex acts is recording prostitution. It is comforting for people to call porn performers ‘porn actresses’ to distance themselves emotionally from the truth that they pay a third party for recording of prostitutes being prostituted, but porn actresses have a lot more in common with other prostitutes than with other actresses, such as poverty, a history of child sex abuse and drug addictions.

Q. Men prostitute too so it’s not just about women
A. Prisons develop systems of prostitution (not surprising since prostitution is big $$$ among gang members not in jail), and there is a specific loss of power, prestige, self-determination and spirit among men who are pimped and tricked. Men who get fucked are treated much differently than men who do the fucking, and no one is treated better than the pimp.

Prostitutes cure impotence!

While in Europe wives make scandals because of their husbands’ unfaithfulness, in China these wives bring their husbands to prostitutes themselves.

Treatment of prostitutes is a longstanding means of restoring the lost potency. "A month of love in the bed with the daughter of the Dragon restores a fertility effect, making a man stronger and healthier" - Chinese people say from ancient times. Treatment prostitutes, or as they are called, the daughters of the Dragon, appeared in the Empire a long time ago: in the 10th century AD. One of these sexual fairies cured the Emperor from infertility.

The grateful emperor ordered the construction of a school for such girls, and "teach this necessary and useful craft every decent woman for them to care about the health and rebirth of a great nation”. Ever since the medical profession of prostitution is thriving for the joy of men and women: men get sexual pleasure and health and the prostitutes themselves - a lot of money and respect from a grateful community.

So? Let's go to China? Lol! What do you think?

Prostitutes become writers!

The well-paid Italian prostitute Patrizia D'Addario decided to write an autobiography in which she tells about her relationship with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.D'Addario says that she plans to publish her autobiography in London. The book will be written in English. Before flying to London, D'Addario arranged a promotional party at one Paris nightclub. There 42-year-old D'Addario stated that the 72-year-old Italian prime minister tried to use her services several times after she visited two parties at his house in Rome. According to the woman’s words, Berlusconi summoned her to his villa in Sardinia, his home in Milan and spa resort. "When you are invited to such a place for few days, certainly you will not be there to play cards and talk about politics" - D'Addario said. She added that she declined the invitation of Berlusconi because she was disappointed by his behavior.
Well, my friends, maybe this news is not the newest one but I did not have a goal to let you know about this fact itself. My statement is the following: it seems to me that sometimes it is even good to be a prostitute. You know, this prostitute, D’Addario, is 42 already. Her book will probably be a bestseller, at least in Italy. Lol! If you are lucky with ‘a client” then you can finally finish your “career”. So, dear prostitutes, don’t miss your chance. Start writing your biographies! Maybe someone will read your books – today everyone writes. You will definitely become well-known writers and get the Nobel!
